ARK's Y-Chew® is a versatile, Y-shaped oral motor chew tool designed to support sensory seekers, especially those with ADHD or autism, in emotional regulation at home, school, or therapy. Each of the three extensions offers a different texture—smooth, ribbed, and bumpy—providing a varied sensory experience for oral stimulation and fidgeting.
Available in 3 toughness levels:
-
Soft/Standard: The softest option, ideal for mild chewers and beginners working on biting and chewing skills.
-
XT (Xtra Tough): Medium firmness for moderate chewers; still flexible but firmer than the Standard.
-
XXT (Xtra Xtra Tough): The firmest level, for avid chewers seeking strong resistance to build jaw strength.
Key benefits:
- Provides a safe alternative to chewing on fingers, shirts, or other non-food items
- Helps exercise lips, tongue, cheeks, and jaw for oral exploration and muscle development
- Supports the reduction of thumb-sucking, tooth grinding, and finger-biting
- Strengthens feeding skills and promotes jaw stability, control, and coordination
- Eases oral sensitivities and food aversions for those with oral defensiveness

Caution: This product is not a toy. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible.
Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.).
While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly. Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace if necessary if the item shows signs of wear and tear.
