Important Safety Information
WARNING - Continuous adult supervision is required at all times.
This product is designed for gentle, individual sensory use only and must always be used under competent adult supervision.
Risk of strangulation or entrapment may occur if the fabric becomes twisted, wrapped around the head or neck, or used incorrectly.
For safe use:
- Do not allow fabric to wrap around the head or neck
- Do not use for sleeping or unsupervised rest
- Do not use for rough play, excessive swinging, climbing, or inversion
- Ensure the user can freely enter and exit the swing at all times
- Maintain adequate clearance from walls, furniture, and surrounding objects
- Discontinue use immediately if the fabric, stitching, straps, carabiners, or hardware show signs of wear or damage
Installation Requirements
The Lycra Therapy Swing must be suspended from a properly installed, load-rated anchor point (not included) secured into a solid structural beam by a competent adult.
For safe use, the swing should hang no more than 40cm from the ground once weight has been applied.
Always test the swing after installation and before each use to ensure all components are secure. Regularly check straps, knots, attachments, and hardware to ensure they remain tight and safe.
Please note that the Lycra fabric will stretch with use and may feel snug when first installed. Reassess the swing height regularly and adjust if required.
Some users may require assistance positioning the fabric layers safely before use.
